PURPOSE: To obtain the device capable of using various kinds of manual drives. CONSTITUTION: The manual drives 6 are provided on the opposite side to the access side of a housed body 2. A carrier body 5 is capable of moving up and down and right and left under the state of holding a desired recording medium cartridge C in its loading and unloading system in order to carry this cartridge and also back and forth in order to approach and recede from the drives via a prescribed path for passing the housed body. Plural pusher members 7 are provided in positions corresponding to plural operators for the drives along this path. Then, an actuator member 8 is provided integrally movably with the carrier body, pressing a specified pusher member by properly moving the carrier body up and down, right and left and back and forth, thus automatically pressing down a desired operator of the drives.
