Provided are an induction heating device and a manufacturing method thereof. The induction heating device comprises: a receiving body (3); a heating coil (5); and a covering layer (7). The receiving body (3) comprises a bottom wall and a side wall surrounding the bottom wall. The heating coil (5) winds around the bottom wall and the side wall in multiple turns and is bond-fixed thereto. The covering layer (7) is inject-molded on the heating coil (5), and the heating coil (5) is wrapped between the covering layer (7) and the receiving body (3). The heating coil (5) comprises two contacts (6) at two distal ends thereof. The two contacts (6) are exposed from the covering layer (7) to form positive and negative poles.
