The invention relates to a portable transport system, such as a double-cable aerial tramway, for harvesting fruit in orchards planted on sloping terrain such as hills and the like. The equipment consists of a steel load-bearing cable, and at least two pillars for holding the load-bearing cable, each of which having a base that stands on the ground and being supported by at least two guys or tension adjusters anchored to the ground. On one of the pillars, there is a motor-driven winch with a pull cable connected to a car hanging from the load-bearing cable, which in turn is provided with hooks for hanging trays or baskets containing the harvested fruit. Each pillar comprises wheels for the displacement thereof, as well as a series of holes for the installation of pins and bolts for attaching pulleys, winches, guy lines and other accessories. |
