<p>PURPOSE:To improve the control accuracy of a rolling thickness by providing a tracking circuit outputting an inlet side reel tension <correction signal to a motor driving device on the inlet side, an outlet side tension correction signal to a motor driving device on an outlet side, and a load correction signal to a hydraulic drawing down device. CONSTITUTION:A tension deviation arithmetic machine 11 is connected to a low pass filter 25, and a tension signal 9 processed by the low pass filter 25 and mill inlet side tension previously set, are compared, and a deviation signal is outputted. A tracking circuit 12 is connected to the tension deviation arithmetic machine 11, and a deviation signal 22 outputted from the tension deviation arithmetic machine 11, is tracked. 9, A tension correction signal 20 is outputted to a motor driving device 18, a tension correction signal 21 is outputted to a motor driving device 19, and a load correction signal 13 is outputted to a hydraulic drawing down device 5. Consequently, a thickness corresponding to the change of the deformation resistance of a base material, can be controlled.
