This fuel cell module includes a storage vessel, a plurality of cell stacks, a reformer, a gas supply unit for supplying an oxygen-containing gas, a heat-insulating material, and a combustion part. The plurality of cell stacks are positioned in parallel to one another, and each comprises a plurality of columnar fuel cells that are arranged in a pre-set arrangement direction. The reformer is positioned above the cell stacks, and generates a fuel gas to be supplied to the fuel cells. The gas supply unit is provided between adjacent cell stacks, and has a gas channel through which the oxygen-containing gas to be supplied to the fuel cells flows from above to below. The heat-insulating material is provided on both end sides in the cell-stack arrangement direction, and is positioned so as to sandwich the cell stacks. The combustion part is provided in a gap between the cell stacks and the reformer. At least one end side in the cell-stack arrangement direction is provided with a connecting part that connects adjacent gaps to one another and is surrounded by the gas supply unit, the heat-insulating material, and the reformer. |
