PURPOSE:To provide a sheet-of-music recognition device which can make preparation of the playing data effectively. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of memory parts N1-N4 etc., are furnished in an image data memory IDM in a memory 24, and therein the image data read by a reading device 16 out of a sheet of music is written page by page. On the other hand, the image data assiciate with the writing is subjected to an image recognition process each time the image data corresponding to one page is written in the memory IDM, and thereby the playing data is made out and written in memory PDM. Write of the image data for another page in the memory IDM is admitted during preparation of the playing data in this manner so that the waiting time for image taking-in is shortened. |
