PURPOSE:To automatically set an optimum shutter release mode according to various kinds of photographic modes. CONSTITUTION:This camera has focusing means 204 to 206 for automatically focusing a photographic lens 201 and has a photographic mode setting means 213 for setting various kinds of the photographic modes and a shutter release mode selecting means 205 for selecting a release priority mode for starting a release action right after the operation of a release operating member SW 2 regardless of focusing and non-focusing of the photographic lens 201 corresponding to the photographic modes set by the photographic mode setting means 213 or a focusing priority mode for starting the release action in such a manner that exposing is executed when the photographic lens 201 is focused. |
