<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the generation of high-concentration ozone by constituting an organic photoreceptive drum, a corona electrostatic charge means and fixing means in a vertical direction in turn from a lower part. CONSTITUTION:Since the fixing device 18 is positioned at the upper part of an image forming device, the temperature of air near the fixing device 18 arrives at about 80 deg. and the specific gravity thereof becomes light, the air near the fixing device 18 in a duct 17 flows to the outside of the image forming device. On the other hand, the high-concentration ozone is included in the air near the corona electrostatic charger 6 and the air near the charger 6 flows in the direction of the fixing device 18 from the neighborhood of the charger 6 together with a paper carried inside the provided duct 17 according as the air near the fixing device 18 is moved. Therefore, the air including the high- concentration ozone generated by the charger 6 is passed through the fixing device 18 and the ozone is thermally decomposed at this time. Then, the thermal decomposition of the ozone is promoted by the high temperature of the heat source of the fixing device 18 and the high-concentration ozone is reduced.</p> |
