A sterilization device 10 is provided with: a flow path pipe 12 that extends in the longitudinal direction; a housing 20 that extends in the longitudinal direction along the flow path pipe 12 and surrounds the outer periphery of the flow path pipe 12; and light emitting elements 40 that are provided inside the housing 20 but outside the flow path pipe 12 and that emit ultraviolet light toward a fluid flowing in the flow path pipe 12. The inner surface 21 of the housing 20 is formed of a material that reflects the ultraviolet light from the light emitting elements 40, and the shape of a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the inner surface 21 of the housing 20 is not similar to the shape of a cross section orthogonal to the longitudinal direction of the flow path pipe 12. |
