A high-precision multidirectional input device (100) comprises a base (110), an upper cover (120), a rocker assembly (130), a reset assembly (140), an electrical assembly (150), a switch shrapnel (160), and a terminal assembly (170). First and second carbon film conductive shrapnels (153, 154) of the electrical assembly are mounted in a cavity gap formed by the upper cover, the base, and carbon film resistors (156, 157), and swing along with an upper rocker shoulder (132) and a lower rocker shoulder (133), to convert an x-axis movement signal and a y-axis movement signal of the rocker subassembly into electrical signals that are output by using resistor terminals (171, 172) of the terminal assembly (170), and to convert a pressing action of a rocker into an electrical signal that is output by using a switch terminal (173) of the terminal assembly, so as to implement control over a screen cursor. The rocker subassembly directly controls variation of motion resistance values between the first carbon film conductive shrapnel and the first carbon film resistor, and between the second carbon film conductive shrapnel and the second carbon film resistor without transmission by using other mechanisms, so that even small position changes of the rocker can be converted into electrical signals, thereby helping improve the control precision of the multidirectional input device. |
