An unmanned mail/courier delivery reception apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a main body having a slot into which a mail or courier delivery is inserted; an optical sensor panel provided inside the main body so that the mail or courier delivery inserted into the slot falls thereonto; and a control unit for calculating the area of the mail or courier delivery on the basis of a signal transmitted from the optical sensor panel. The unmanned mail/courier delivery reception apparatus according to an embodiment of the present invention can recognize the size of a mail or courier delivery once the mail or courier delivery falls onto the optical sensor panel, thereby providing a simpler apparatus and program for measuring the size of a mail or courier delivery, and thus significantly reducing the production cost. |
