PURPOSE:To process transactions by cards, to use the plural kinds of cards, further, to simplify an input operation and to decrease input error. CONSTITUTION:This device is provided with a keyboard 14, card reader 12 and printer 16 or the like and can communicate with center equipments 23 and 24 in a system for processing the plural kinds of cards by a communication means composed of a modem 18 and an NCU 19 or the like and further, the relation of correspondence between identification data contained in card data and the class of the card is stored in a RAM 21. Based on this corresponding relation, as a control means, a CPU 22 discriminates the class of the card and corresponding to the class, the communication means or the like is controlled. |
