<p>PURPOSE:To correctly detect the motion vector due to the camera-shake by using the representative point, where the change of the pattern of a peripheral picture is larger than a prescribed value, to obtain the motion vector. CONSTITUTION:The output of a CCD image pickup element 3 is supplied to an A/D converter 5 through a sampling and holding circuit 4. The image pickup signal from the CCD image pickup element is digitized by the A/D converter 5 and is supplied to a camera signal processing circuit 6. This circuit 6 separates the image pickup signal into a luminance signal and a chroma signal and performs required signal processing. The output of the camera signal processing circuit 6 is supplied to an electronic zoom circuit 9 and a motion vector detecting circuit 7. The motion vector detecting circuit 7 detects the motion vector by the representative point matching method. It is discriminates whether the change of the pattern around the representative point is large or not, and this representative point is adopted only when this change is larger than the prescribed value.</p> |
