ASCENDING/DESCENDING FACILITY AND CONVEYANCE SYSTEM

[Problem] To provide an ascending/descending facility and a conveyance system which prevent air in a high-temperature zone of a drying furnace from leaking to the outside of the furnace and which can improve thermal efficiency in the drying furnace. [Solution] A first ascending/descending facility 20 (second ascending/descending facility 70) for a workpiece W is provided in a drying furnace 1 for drying the workpiece W, and comprises: a first drop lift 21 (second drop lift 71) that conveys the workpiece W so as to be ascended/descended between a carrying-in position 91 at which the workpiece W is carried into the drying furnace 1 or a carrying-out position 94 at which the workpiece W is carried out from the drying furnace 1, and a high-temperature zone 92 which is formed above the carrying-in position 91 and the carrying-out position 94 and in which the workpiece W is dried; and a first support pillar 22 (second support pillar 76) that supports the first drop lift 21 (second drop lift 71) in an ascendable/descendable manner. The first support pillar 22 (second support pillar 76) is extended to the high-temperature zone 92 in the drying furnace 1.
