The present invention relates to a sash assembly. The assembly includes a sash including one or more fastening means. A sash frame is provided relative to which the sash can be movably fastened. The sash frame includes a movable restraint for moving to engage with said fastening means so that the sash can be restrained relative to the sash frame. The assembly impedes the sash, having a glass window pane, from being blown or sucked from the sash frame in a storm. |
