Provided is a compact heat exchanger. This outdoor heat exchanger (400) is provided with a fin group (410) and a flat tube group (420). The flat tube group (420) includes a first flat tube (421) and a second flat tube (422). The first flat tube (421) is provided with: at least one first outward path section (421b); at least one first fold-back section (421c); and at least one first return path section (421d). The first outward path section (421b) is joined to a plurality of fins. The first fold-back section (421c) follows the first outward path section (421b), and is positioned outside the fin group (410). The first return path section (421d) follows the first fold-back section (421c), and is joined to the plurality of fins. The second flat tube (422) is provided with: at least one second outward path section (422b); at least one second fold-back section (422c); and at least one second return path section (422d). The second outward path section (422b) is joined to the plurality of fins. The second fold-back section (422c) follows the second outward path section (422b), and is positioned outside the first fold-back section (421c). The second return path section (422d) follows the second fold-back section (422c), and is joined to the plurality of fins. |
