The invention relates to a production method using particles of mining tyres which are no longer used and the formulation thereof, said method comprising the steps of preparing a premix or a masterbatch by means of a melt-mixing process, the composition thereof consisting of between 25 and 85 wt.% of MDPE, between 25 and 85 wt.% of mining tyres which are no longer used, and between 25 and 85 wt.% of additives or compatibilising resin; where said melt-mixing process is carried out in a batch-mixing or continuous-mixing apparatus, and with batch processing or continuous processing; preparing the base material of the geomembrane by means of a process of melt-mixing medium-density polyethylene, particles of tyres which are no longer used produced by means of grinding said tyres, and additives or compatibilising resin, where said melt-mixing method is carried out in a batch-mixing or continuous-mixing apparatus, and with batch processing or continuous processing; where the composition of the final mixture is between 50 and 70 wt.% of medium-density polyethylene, and between 30 and 50 wt.% of said premix; and carrying out a process of extrusion, thermolaminating and melt-moulding in order to produce said geomembrane. |
