The present invention provides: a novel tetrahydroazepine compound; and a method for producing the tetrahydroazepine compound. The present invention relates to: a tetrahydroazepine compound represented by general formula (10) (wherein R1 represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent; R2 represents an alkyl group which may have a substituent; and one of the X-Y bond and the Y-Z bond represents a carbon-carbon double bond, and the other represents a carbon-carbon single bond) or a salt thereof; and a method for producing the compound or a salt thereof.
