A head part for forming a liquid treatment apparatus includes a housing, into which at least part of a connecting head (15) of a liquid treatment cartridge (1) is insertable and a cartridge recognition component (85), exposed to an interior of the housing in at least an operative position, for co-operating with the inserted part of the connecting head (15) such that at least the part of the connecting head (15) to be inserted of only a cartridge (1) with a feature (31) shaped to fitthe exposed part of the cartridge recognition component (85) can reach an operative position in the head part. |
