ENTERAL FEEDING EXTENSION SET CONNECTOR A connector (10) for coupling a medical fluid supply tube to the head of an enteral feeding catheter device (20) having a circular hub (24) having a generally horizontal top surface (26) that extends radially outward over a generally vertical side surface (28) to define a circumferential recess (30) in the side surface of the circular hub (24), the connector (10) comprising: a resilient assembly (11) having a central support; a cover (12) formed separately from the central support and connected with and extending over and circumferentially around the central support, the cover (12) defining a distal-most portion of the connector (10) relative to the head of the enteral feeding catheter; a plurality of release buttons (14) formed separately from the cover (12) and extending from the central support, each release (14) button having a first portion including a finger contact zone (50) and a second portion including a catch (56), the catch (56) configured to releasably engage a circumferential recess defined in a side surface of the circular hub (24); a conduit (16) defining a fluid pathway through the connector (10) to the enteral feeding catheter device (20), the finger contact zone (50) of the release buttons (14) extending radially outward from the cover (12) and movable relative to the cover (12) and central support radially inward into recesses defined in the cover (12); and wherein the connector (10) is coupled to the circular hub (24) having a generally horizontal top surface that extends radially outward over the generally vertical side surface to define a circumferential recess by the catches that engage the circumferential recess such that the connector is free to rotate completely about the circular hub, and wherein the connector (10) decouples from the circular hub (24) by pressing the release buttons radially inward to reversibly displace the respective catches radially outward to disengage from the circumferential recess.
