1. A computer-implemented method for processing media data, the method comprising:
at a terminal device, receiving high-frequency fingerprint data, having its frequency in an inaudible range of frequencies, associated with media data, wherein the terminal device has not determined identification information of the media data; at a server, identifying another high-frequency fingerprint data, having its frequency in the inaudible range of frequencies, associated with another media data that has not been identified by the terminal device, wherein the size of the media data is smaller than the size of the another media data; determining a score by iteratively comparing the high-frequency fingerprint data to the another high-frequency fingerprint data, wherein when the score exceeds a threshold level, the identity of the media data comprises the identity of the another media data; and presenting information associated with a product or service that is associated with the another media data having the same identity as the media data based on the determining. |
