<p>PURPOSE:To provide the golf club which enables a golfer to swing while surely capturing a ball without generating a slip at the time of shot. CONSTITUTION:At least the ball hitting section of a club head face 12 is formed of a metallic material. A diamond particle layer 17 and a metallic material exposing layer are formed to coexist on the surface of the metallic material. The entire area of the coexistence layer is coated with a superfine particle layer 18 which consists of superfine diamond or is formed by coating the surfaces of the superfine diamond with carbon. Only the superfine particle layer 18 in particular is extended from the ball hitting section to the sole face 13 which comes into sliding friction with the ground surface.</p> |
