<p>PURPOSE: To provide a friction brake to a hand grip for braking a returning movement of the grip and make a friction brake with a wear resistant viscoelastic plastic material to prevent a hitting noise upon the return movement. CONSTITUTION: A bearing block 5 is pivotally attached to a leg end 4 through a bearing pin 6 and a U-shaped grip body 1 is held at the waiting position by returning spring 7 or returned from a position of use to the waiting position. To prevent excessive impact and resulting noise upon the return movement, the hand grip has a friction brake consisting of a molding of a wear resistant viscoelastic plastic material, a molding 8 favorably formed by PTE. The molding 8 has a bore 9 which receives an axial region of the bearing pin 6, an opening cross section of the bore 9 is smaller than that of the bearing pin 6, and the bearing pin 6 is press-fitted in the bore 9.</p> |
