Provided are a focus positioning method for application switching, and a terminal thereof. The method comprises the following steps: monitoring and detecting an instruction to switch between applications on a terminal (S10); when the instruction to switch between applications is detected, acquiring focus engagement information of applications currently undergoing a switching operation (S20); and positioning a current focus to a window of an application having the focus engagement information satisfying a preset condition (S30). Positioning a current focus to a window of an application satisfying a preset condition among applications currently undergoing a switching operation can prevent the focus from being lost when switching between multiple applications is performed, thereby enabling a user to operate the application more conveniently after the switching. |
