PURPOSE:To inhibit density unevenness, etc., without depending upon a recording picture pattern, and to enable the recording of a high grade in a recording device for conducting recording by using a recording head with a plurality of ink discharge openings. CONSTITUTION:The temperature distribution of a recording head with a plurality of discharge openings is detected by counting the number of discharge dots at every discharge opening (a step S4), and recording speed is decreased by lowering discharge frequency (a step S) when there are the discharge openings discharging ink at a number (N), where a temperature is increased, or more (a step S7). Accordingly, the discharge openings discharging ink at intervals longer than the progress of a temperature rise on recording are removed. |
