摘要 |
Techniques are disclosed for a communication system that facilitates communication between a computing device and a computer system. In some examples, the computing device can support a first communication protocol (e.g., hypertext transfer protocol (HTTP)). In such examples, the computer system can support a second communication protocol (e.g., Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP)). In some examples, the communication system can provide a callable, communication interface that supports one or more communication protocols and that provides functions to enable the computing device t to communicate with the computer system. For example, the communication interface can enable the computing device to use HTTP to communicate with the computer system to perform operations defined using LDAP. |

1. A method comprising:
receiving, by a first computer system, a request from a computing device, wherein the request indicates a plurality of operations to be performed, and wherein the request is in accordance with a first communication protocol; identifying a first operation of the plurality of operations based on the request, wherein the first operation is in accordance with a second communication protocol that is supported by a second computer system, and wherein the second communication protocol is different from the first communication protocol; performing, by the second computer system, the identified first operation; based on a result of performing the identified first operation, identifying a second operation of the plurality of operations based on the request, wherein the second operation is in accordance with a second communication protocol; performing, by the second computer system, the identified second operation; determining, by the first computer system, a result of performing the second operation; generating, by the first computer system, a response in accordance with the first communication protocol, wherein the response includes the result of performing the plurality of operations indicated by the request; and sending, by the first computer system, the response to the computing device. |
