a three-dimensional display,
wherein the three-dimensional display is arranged for adjacently providing, in a viewing cone, a series of views of the three-dimensional image data,wherein the series of views enable autostereoscopic viewing of the three-dimensional image data by a viewer perceiving two different ones of the series of views at multiple viewing positions in the viewing cone, an indicator generator, wherein the indicator generator is configured to place a graphical shape in the three-dimensional image data, wherein a display of the graphical shape on the three-dimensional display provides to the viewer a position indicator, wherein the position indicator graphically represents a relative position of the two different ones of the series of views within the series of views, wherein the graphical shape comprises a reference shape for graphically representing a reference position of a reference view within the series of views, wherein the graphical shape comprises a position shape for graphically representing a current position of the two different ones of the series of views within the series of views, wherein the display of the graphical shape on the three-dimensional display provides to the viewer a reference part and a position part of the position indicator, wherein the display of the graphical shape has a relative spatial alignment graphically representing the relative position of the two different ones of the series of views within the series of views, wherein the graphical shape can provide an indication of a pseudoscopic perception of the three-dimensional image data, wherein the indication is perceivable as an average of at least two of the graphical shapes in the series of views. |
