1. A computing system, comprising:
one or more computing processors; and computing memory communicatively coupled to the one or more computing processors, the computing memory having stored therein executable instructions that, upon execution, cause the system to perform operations comprising:
a first service orchestration management function executing on the computing system detecting that orchestration of a service is to be performed;the first service orchestration management function executing on the computing system processing a first orchestration profile to identify a service node, a service layer, or a service capability for orchestration;the first service orchestration management function executing on the computing system determining using the first orchestration profile a desired service configuration for orchestration;the first service orchestration management function executing on the computing system determining that the first orchestration profile identifies a second orchestration profile, the second orchestration profile associated with a second service orchestration management function;the first service orchestration management function transmitting a request to the second service orchestration management function to orchestrate a service using the second orchestration profile; andreceiving from the second service orchestration management function an indication the requested orchestration using the second orchestration profile has been performed. |
