PURPOSE:To prevent deformation and breakage of brazed spectacles frame member at the brazed part or near the brazed part by performing solution treatment previously at the brazed part or near the brazed part, then performing brazing and ageing. CONSTITUTION:The hardness of the brazed part or near the brazed part is reduced once by performing solution treatment of the brazed part or near the brazed part of a spectacles frame A, B. Then, the spectacles frame members A, B are subjected to working (normal working or cold working), if necessary. For example, when the spectacles frame member A is a linear rim having a specified length before it is bent to approximately C form, the member may be bundled after the brazed part or near the brazed part is subjected to solution treatment. Then, the member is brazed and the whole brazed part or solution- treated part is aged. By this method, when, for example, a beryllium/steel alloy is heat-treated at a relatively low temp., particularly at 300-350 deg.C, the alloy becomes harder and strengthened by causing precipitation of beryllium compds. Thus, the hardness at the brazed part or near the brazed part is improved to >=200 HV, and deformation and breakage is prevented even if a mechanical stress is effected on the brazed part or near the brazed part.
