摘要 PURPOSE:To perform continuous measurement, by a simple apparatus constituted so that a truck is allowed to run along a road to be measured and the configuration of the road is measured on the basis of the measured values of a range finding mechanism, an angle-of-bend measuring mechanism and an angle-of-inclination measuring mechanism. CONSTITUTION:By moving a truck 1 so that the wheel 2a provided to the front part 1a thereof is turned in the tangential direction of a route, the truck 1 is bent at the angle matched with the curvature of the route and the rear part 1b thereof advances so as to follow the front part 1a. The running distance of the truck 1 is detected by operating a counter 4 by the projection 3a of a roller 3 rotating with the rotation of the wheel 2a. When the front part 1a and rear part 1b of the truck 1 are bent, a shaft 5 relatively rotates with respect to the front part 1a and the relative rotation of the shaft 5 is transmitted to an angle-of-rotation meter 7 to detect the angle of bend of the truck 1. When the truck 1 is inclined with respect to the advance direction, the angle of inclination of the truck 1 is detected by an angle-of-inclination meter 11. At each time when the truck 1 moves by a definite distance, these measured values are stored in a memory apparatus 12. The configuration of a road is calculated from the measured values stored in the apparatus 12.
