PURPOSE:To keep off any degradation in a formed image in the case where there is produced any misregistration between an electron beam generator and an irradiated member of a phosphor screen or the like, by performing the trajectory adjustment of an electron beam by means of a deflecting device. CONSTITUTION:When misregistration is produced between an electron beam generator 2 and an irradiated member 3, voltage corresponding to a misregistration quantity x in an X direction is impressed between plate electrodes 4a and 4b by a variable voltage source 5a as well as voltage corresponding to a misregistration quantity y in a Y direction is impressed between plate electrodes 4c and 4d by a variable voltage source 5b. And, all electron beams are subjected to deflecting trajectory adjustment in both X and Y direction as much as the quantity corresponding to relative misregistration quantities x and y between the generator 2 and the irradiated member 2, irradiating the right position.
