PURPOSE:To enhance an extraction speed while preventing emulsification, by supplying an extractant not compatible with other two liquids to a first chamber partitioned by a solid membrane and supplying one of an extract and a counter-extractant to a second chamber while supplying the other one of them to the first chamber. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical casing 10 is demarcated by partition plates 12, 14, 20, 22 and a first chamber is provided between the partition plates 14, 20 to form an extractant chamber 28. A pipe shaped solid membrane 30 is provided so as to communicate an extract introducing chamber 18 and an extraction residue discharge chamber 24 to form a second chamber therein. An extractant is recirculated through an introducing port 36, the extractant chamber 28 and a withdrawal port 38 while an extract is introduced into the second chamber in the solid membrane 30 from a supply port 44 and the extractant in the extractant chamber 28 is contacted with the extract falling through the solid membrane 30 through the tube wall surface part of said solid membrane 30 to transfer the objective substance in the extract to the extractant. The counter-extractant having specific gravity higher than that of the extractant and not compatible with the extractant is supplied to the extractant chamber 28 through a counter-extractant introducing chamber 16 and a drip pipe 32 and directly contacted with the extractant to perform counter-extraction.
