WELDING CURRENT MEASURING INSTRUMENT

PURPOSE:To check a defective electricity-conducting part and to analyze a welding defect by storing the detected current value of resistance welding and displaying the current characteristic in an optional electricity conducting section or comparing the same with a reference value after the end of welding. CONSTITUTION:The current of the resistance welding is detected by a detector 2 and the detected current value is stored into a storage device 7. The optional electricity conduction section is assigned by a setter 8 upon ending of welding and the current characteristics such as the average current value, max. value and min. value in said section are calculated by an arithmetic circuit 10 and displayed 12. The characteristics are compared 11 with the reference value and are displayed. The abnormal weld zone or the abnormal electricity- conducting part is checked by the above-mentioned display method. This method makes contribution to the analysis of the welding defect.
