PURPOSE:To obtain at a high crosslinking rate a silicone rubber molding which does not cause blooming, by crosslinking a silicone rubber with bis(o-methoxybenzoyl) peroxide as a crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:A silicone rubber is crosslinked with bis(o-methoxybenzoyl) peroxide as a crosslinking agent. Examples of the silicone rubbers are dimethylsilicone rubber, methylvinylsilicone rubber, methylphenylsilicone rubber, chlorosilicone rubber, etc. They are superior in crosslinking characteristics, low-temperature characteristics and oil resistance.
