[Class 132 (ii)] A handle grip for a games implement comprises a spiral strip of sponge rubber 2, a winding of adhesive tape 3 and a winding of rubberized or rubber covered textile fabric strip 4. The edges of the sponge rubber strip 2 abut to present a continuous surface and the edges of the rubberized textile fabric strip 4 may abut or overlap slightly. The windings 3 and 4 may be in reverse direction to the sponge rubber winding 2. In a modification, the outer covering may comprise a sheath of grip material such as a rubber tube.</p> |
