1. A structural member having a longitudinal axis comprising:
an exterior shell member having two opposed ends and defining an elongated channel with an inner surface; an interior shell member having two opposed ends and having an outer surface and defining an inner channel, the interior shell member being inserted in the elongated channel of the exterior shell member and extending longitudinally therein; and concrete continuously filling space between the interior shell member and the exterior shell member and continuously covering the two opposed ends of the interior shell member with at least one reinforcement bar including a longitudinally extending section extending along the longitudinal axis and between the interior shell member and the exterior shell member and being disconnected from the inner surface of the exterior shell member and from the outer surface of the interior shell member, wherein at least one of the inner surface of the exterior shell member and the outer surface of the interior shell member comprises a polymeric coating including abrasive particles.
