1. A method of forming a roll of thermoplastic elastomeric film resistant to blocking, and using said film, said method comprising the steps of:
a) providing a thermoplastic elastomeric film having a first surface and a second surface in a continuous manner by on-line formation by extrusion, b) following formation of the film by extrusion and prior to gathering the film on a roll, applying an anti-blocking agent in a molten state to at least the first surface of the film to provide a formation of said anti-blocking agent on said first surface, and thereby form a treated surface, wherein said applying step comprises applying the anti-blocking agent as a fine mist; said fine mist having an average particle diameter of less than or equal to 1000 μm, and c) following formation of said treated surface, gathering the film on a roll to form a bulk roll having rolled layers of the film with the treated surface in contact with the second surface. |
