A biodiesel crystallization depressant composition comprising a triacylglycerol comprising 1,3-dioleoyl-2-palmitoyl glycerol, wherein the 1,3-dioleoyi-2-palmitoyl glycerol is mixed with a biodiesei fuel comprising methyl palmitate to a desired molar fraction, XOPO, where X ranges from greater than 0 to 1.0, and further wherein the 1,3-dioleoyl-2-palmitoyl glycerol begins crystallization depression from inception of addition down to a maximum at molar fraction 0.45OPO.
