1. A compound represented by the formula:or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof, wherein
Y is —CO2R4, —CONR5R6, —CON(CH2CH2OH)2, —CONH(CH2CH2OH), —CH2OH, —P(O)(OH)2, —CONHSO2R4 , —SO2NR5R6 , wherein R4 R5, and R6 are independently H, C1-C6 alkyl, C1-6 hydroxyalkyl, unsubstituted phenyl, or unsubstituted biphenyl; A is —(CH2)5—, —CH═CH(CH2)3—, or —C≡C(CH2)3—, wherein:
a) one or two —CH2— may be replaced with —O— or —S—, orb) —CH2CH2—, —(CH2)3—, or —(CH2)4— is replaced by —Ar— and one —CH2— may be replaced by —O— or —S—; Ar is 1,3-attached thienyl, furyl, or pyrrolyl with zero, one, or two substituents selected from, —F, —Cl, —Br, —CH3, or —OCH3; R1, R2, and R3 are independently —H, —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, —CF3, —C(O)CF3, —R, —C(O)R, —SO2NR2, —OR, or —NR2, wherein R is independently —H or C1-6 alkyl B is phenyl, pyridinyl, thienyl, or furyl, and B has one, two, or three substituents independently selected from —F, —Cl, —Br, —I, —CF3, —C(O)CF3, —R7, —C(O)R7, —SO2N(R7)2, —OR7, and —N(R7)2, wherein R7 is C1-10 alkyl with 0, 1, 2, or 3 —OH substituents, or R7 is unsubstituted phenyl, pyridinyl, thienyl, or furyl. |
