1. A microneedle comprising:
a frustum of a cone or pyramid, wherein a diameter D of a bottom surface of the frustum is larger than a diameter of an upper surface of the frustum; a flange at a bottom portion of the frustum; and a forward end portion formed on the upper surface of the frustum, wherein the forward end portion has a forward end apex angle (A) in a range of 15 to 60° and a forward end diameter (B) in a range of 1 to 20 μm and satisfying the following expression (1),
H/D≧5 (1) where H is a total height of the microneedle, the frustum having a first taper, and the flange having a second taper shallower than the first taper. |
