<p>Cellulose digesting process Kraft pulp is prepd. from raw wood chips in a pressurised digester by moving the wood chips continuously through the dissolution liquor, whereby the spent or weakened dissolution liquor is removed from the bath at a pt. which is disposed below the level of the liquor, the spent liquor is then cleaned in a closed cycle concd. and reheated and recirculated into the dissolution liquor just below its level at the pt. where teh wood chips are introduced so as to maintain the dissolution liquor at constant concn., temp. and degree of cleanliness.</p> |
