In a racing game wherein models 3 are electrically driven along grooves 4 in a playing surface 1, by means of current collectors 6 deriving curent from conductors 7, means are provided for indicating any deviation of the models from correct alignment in the grooves. As shown in Fig. 3 a guiding pin 5, made of insulation material, depending from the model is provided at its lower end with a conductor plate 8 which passes freely through the recess 9 when the model is tracking correctly, but otherwise bridges two conductors 10 to complete a circuit to an indicator. Alternatively, as shown in Fig. 6, a displaceable barrier 14 is mounted along one or both sides of each groove 4, so that a model which ceases to track correctly displaces one of the barriers and thereby completes a circuit to an indicator.
