Emulsions, making.-Vulcanized rubber is regenerated and dispersed in water by treating it in a roller mill or the like, exerting pressure and friction, together with a dispersing agent such as glue, soap, casein, gelatine or saponin, and subsequently adding about 30 per cent of water. Vulcanizing agents and, if desired, rubber latex may be incorporated in the product.</p> |
