PURPOSE: To provide a user programmable entertainment method and its system providing various continuous entertainment services characteristic to a user. CONSTITUTION: An entertainment signal consisting of a sequence of discrete expressive works is provided for an end user. The discrete expressive works represented in the entertainment signals can especially be requested by a user or selected according to a user specified parameter. The user defines a sequence of user preference items cooperatively constituting a user preference signal. The user preference signal is communicated to a remote program processor 175, which selects plural discrete expressive works matching with the definition of a user preference item. After then, the entertainment signal comprising the selected expressive works is communicated to a receiving means positioned within a user node 100 through a communication link. |
