摘要 A method, an apparatus and a system for using a plurality of subscriber identity module (SIM) cards is provided. The use of the plurality of subscriber identity module (SIM) cards comprises stop using a first SIM card and start using a second SIM card when a first event trigger occurs; and stop using the second SIM card and start using an operational SIM card when a second event trigger occurs. The operational SIM card can be the first SIM card, the second SIM card or another SIM card. The SIM cards can be placed in a wireless communication system. The SIM cards can also be placed in at least one external device and the external device can be connected to the wireless communication system.
