[Class 39 (ii)] The invention described in the parent Specification is modified by providing a lubricant between the lamp cap and the neck of the bulb to facilitate the fitting of the cap upon the bulb, the lubricant consisting of a layer of material which subsequently hardens and ceases to act as a lubricant. The material is preferably such that,. upon hardening, it adheres to the cap and the neck of the bulb. An alcoholic solution of shellac is given as an example of such a lubricant. |
