A method of processing a document described by a page description language (PDL) data structure in a PDL coordinate space. The PDL data structure describes independent image objects of the document is received. Each of the independent image objects is described in the PDL data structure by associating image data with at least one attribute of the corresponding independent image object, each independent image object being independently placed in the PDL coordinate space. A plurality of the independent image objects marked, in the PDL data structure, as forming a unified logical image and one or more of the identified independent image objects are adjusted independently of each other based on the corresponding attributes. |

receiving the PDL data structure describing independent image objects of the document, each of the independent image objects being described in the PDL data structure by associating image data with at least one attribute of the corresponding independent image object, each independent image object being independently placed in the PDL coordinate space; identifying a plurality of the independent image objects marked, in the PDL data structure, as forming a unified logical image; and adjusting one or more of the identified independent image objects independently of each other based on the corresponding attributes. |
