PURPOSE:To return a top sealer to the basic position (0 degree) without meshing with an article to be packed. CONSTITUTION:Rotary shafts 12, 13 and the top sealers 20, 21 connected thereto are reversible forward and backward by a drive motor 18. A detector plate 25 having a detected zone 25b cut to form a fan-shape at the specified position of a circular disc is fitted to one end of the rotary shaft 12, in a specified positional relationship. A proximity sensor 26 is equipped at the position of 270 degrees and the output is transmitted to a controller 27. The controller decides the rotary direction when the top sealer is returned to the basic position and controls the motor so as to rotate reversely (broken line-arrow mark in the figure) when the proximity sensor is positioned opposite to the detecting zone and rotate forward (solid line-arrow mark in the figure) when time proximity sensor is positioned to the detected zone. When the sensor output is reversed during rotation, the top sealer is controlled to rotate by 45 degrees to the forward direction from the position. |
