prior to a specific event, sending an invitation to a plurality of users to contribute a number of digital images and data associated with the digital images to the social networking environment, the plurality of users being associated with the specific event; retrieving the digital images from the social networking environment, the images comprising images associated with the specific event; retrieving the data associated with the retrieved digital images; and creating a physical representation of the digital images and data associated with the digital images, wherein the data associated with the digital images comprises a number of comments and a number of tags within the digital images, the tags identifying an individual within the digital images; wherein creating the physical representation of the digital images and data associated with the digital images comprises adding an index marker to the physical representation, the index marker identifying which of a number of photo albums within the social networking environment the images originate.
