Integrated seal for control button

A seal integrated into a groove of a button. The seal includes a cross-section with a peak surrounded by a valley on each side of the peak. The valleys both extend below the outer surface of the midsection of the button and the peak extends above the outer surface. This structure allows for easier compression of the seal while performing the sealing function.

1. A depressible button for a tool, comprising:
a base; a midsection extending from the base and having an outer surface; a groove disposed in and extending around the midsection; and a seal disposed in the groove and having a cross section with a peak and a valley adjacent the peak, wherein the peak extends beyond the outer surface and the valley extends below the outer surface.
